Summit Preparatory student competes, cooked on Steve Harvey’s show

Molly Leighninger, a seventh-grader at The Summit Preparatory School, created the Molly Burger on the menu at Gettin' Basted restaurants in Springfield, Nixa and Branson.

The initial time Molly Leighninger entered a cooking competition she was a number of times shy of her fifth birthday.

“I got 3rd put,” she mentioned. “I just realized. I beloved that sensation.”

She was hooked. Now, at age 13, she is a veteran of 35 cooking competitions with options to enter additional.
